I also use Oasys lenses and am very happy with them. But it wouldn't hurt to try something new.

Like Mad Sweeney, I make my lenses last longer than a month. I actually switch between two pairs at one time. I use Opti-free Replenish to clean them daily and once every 1-2 weeks use Clear Care also to clean them. Before I put them on, I out one drop on each contact of Opti-free Refresh rewetting drops.

This has been my regimen for a while now and it is the most comfortable my eyes have ever felt.

a SIMPLE answer re: 607 please

i know it's a complicated topic, and i've spent gobs and gobs of hours studying it and realizing that 586/587 is the most likely date.

so anyway, here's my question:.

how could jerusalem's fall be 587 but still be in line with the scriptures about 70 years of desolation that the wto uses to push 607 so strongly?

many, if not all, of the witness weddings i attended in the last few years had the 'tradition' of the bride and groom and members of the wedding party lined up to greet the guests into the reception room.. it was also a faily common practice to kiss the bride.

Best way to step down from being a servant

hey i'm wondering if anyone can give some good advice on how to step down in the safest way.. i have served as an ms for a number of years, but can't do it anymore.

i know too much i want to fade in the future when i get some family things straightened out.

i can't move right now so that's out unfortunately.. what should i tell the body?

Ray, I have to agree with Billy on this. I made the elders aware of my resignation at least a month before the CO came, which means during the visit I was still a servant.
I believe they discuss a resignation at their elders meeting which is after the MS meeting. Despite this, I was not asked if I would attend beforehand, nor asked why I didn't attend afterwards.
The point? It is YOUR decision. Unless you feel like it's a real job and at least a 2 week resignation process is required, it doesn't matter who wants you to be at that meeting.
Ah, gotta love being a mandatory volunteer.

Funny also what the elders said to you at their little meeting with you. Commend, commend, commend! Yea.....it was a little too late for that. The "you have so much potential" line was classic when I was told that.
